What moves the number
- Servings — a cake for 8 costs less than a cake for 80.
- Tiers — each additional tier adds structure, time, and weight.
- Design complexity — hand-painted, sculpted, or gold-leafed details take longer.
- Dietary needs — vegan and gluten-friendly ingredients cost more to source.

Before you ask
A few things people usually want to know before booking.
How much notice do you need?
Seven days for most custom cakes. For weddings and multi-tier designs, we prefer two to three weeks — it gives us time for a proper consultation and to source any specialty ingredients.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit confirms your order and locks in your date. The balance is due on collection or delivery. We’ll send payment details in WhatsApp once the design and quote are approved.
Can you make vegan or gluten-friendly cakes?
We can. Vegan and gluten-friendly versions are available for most of our cakes, though some designs are trickier to translate. Note that our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy, so we can’t guarantee zero cross-contamination.
Do you deliver?
Yes, within the Downtown district (5 km of Maple Street) for a flat $8, free over $75. We recommend delivery for multi-tier cakes. Pickup is free and always available.
Can I change my order after booking?
Small changes — flavour tweaks, colour adjustments, message edits — are fine up to 72 hours before your date. Bigger changes may affect the price and depend on where we are in the design process. Just message us and we’ll figure it out.
